Orthodontics — Case 01

At Oral Studio, we welcomed a patient with unilateral crossbite on the right side and crossbite on the left lateral incisor. This situation affected not only aesthetics, but also masticatory function and facial symmetry.
After a thorough clinical evaluation and planning in functional orthopedics of the jaws (MFO), treatment was put in place to correct bone and muscle imbalances and restore harmony between the arches.
Thanks to rigorous follow-up and the patient’s cooperation, we were able to completely correct the crossbite, achieving correct dental interlocking, balanced chewing function and harmonious facial aesthetics.
This result illustrates how functional orthopedics of the jaws makes it possible, in a non-invasive way, to correct structural imbalances and restore the smile to its natural balance.
