ORAL Studio
Paediatric dentistry is the branch of dentistry dedicated to babies, children and adolescents. It aims to prevent, diagnose and treat oral problems from an early age, taking into account the growth, development and specific needs of each child.
Their goal is to ensure optimal oral health, create lasting habits, and build a positive and reassuring relationship with the dental practice.

What is paediatric dentistry?
Paediatric dentistry includes a range of care for the youngest, including:
- prevention of cavities and gum disease,
- monitoring the eruption of temporary and permanent teeth,
- early detection of malocclusions,
- conservative treatments of baby teeth and permanent teeth,
- management of dental trauma,
- support for parents in learning oral hygiene.
Care is carried out in a gentle and trusting environment, using approaches that are appropriate to the child’s age, temperament and emotional needs.
Who can benefit from paediatric care?
Paediatric dentistry concerns all children, from the first tooth to the end of adolescence. It is particularly aimed at:

General anesthesia in outpatient settings

In some situations, dental care cannot be carried out comfortably in children. That’s why we offer general anesthesia treatments on an outpatient basis, in collaboration with specialized anesthesiologists — a rare service in a dental practice.
This approach allows all care to be carried out in a single session, without stress or trauma, and is particularly indicated for anxious children, very young, with special needs or requiring multiple treatments.
Outpatient General Anesthesia Process
During the first consultation, the dentist assesses the child’s clinical situation, identifies treatment needs, and explains to the parents why general anesthesia may be recommended.
A comprehensive treatment plan is drawn up and all parents’ questions are clarified.
The child is then evaluated by a specialized anesthesiologist, who analyzes the medical history, checks for possible contraindications and provides preparation instructions (fasting, medication, recommendations for the day of the operation).

After the procedure, the child remains under supervision until his or her condition is perfectly stable.
Parents are given detailed instructions regarding home care. The child can go home no mesmo dia, and a follow-up consultation is scheduled.
The process of paediatric care

Complete clinical examination, observation of tooth eruption and adapted X-rays if necessary.

02. Personalized prevention
Application of fluoride varnishes, sealing of furrows, hygiene advice and age-appropriate dietary recommendations.
03. Conservative Care
Restoration of milk and permanent teeth, minimally invasive techniques, pediatric pulp treatments, management of dental trauma.
04. Growth Monitoring and Guidance
Control of tooth alignment, lingual posture, breathing and arch development.
Referral to orthodontics if necessary.
